Perduco

In many ways, Perduco feels and looks like a school, although the conventional education components have been arranged in a different way, creating a unique educational entity. Perduco is an alternative to traditional public and private education, providing educational services, resources, and tools, for homeschooled, unschooled, and conventionally schooled children. As Steve Jobs has stated, "creativity is just connecting things." At Perduco, members are simply connecting things, things that are already collectively familiar to us, or things we want to learn more about, such as child behavior, organizational structures, curriculum materials, systems, technology, teaching and learning, processes, family challenges, deductive reasoning, cultural standards, etc. It's a wonderful work in progress. Perduco emphasizes positive personal values, high achievement, and meaningful participation in the learning process (self-directed learning) and the greater learning community. Student members of Perduco are currently 10 - 16 years of age.
